Hotel Clover Restaurant
They're having a 20% discount Opening
People who know me well understand fully, dessert comes first.
Good for your soul Lava Cake
Fish and Chips crispness is just right and flour isn't thick.
Have you ever eat too much fried stuffs and got greasy in the tummy due to thick oily flour.
Even their sauce seem to be homemade as I never like tartar sauce due to their sourness but this taste mild sweetness and just like fresh cream.
They have very good interior designed to give off a relaxed, comfortable vibe with good atmosphere. Definitely a place I'll come back to chill with my friends or even a company lunch or dinner.

Pasir Ris Fishing Pond
D'Best Fishing by new operator
Pasir Ris Pro Pond and Main Pond have different operator although it's within the same vicinity.
You could say we're a regular there as we are there almost every weekends and holidays.
Everyone shouting "Bang He!" excitedly (meaning Release Fish in hokkien)
Ringo showing us the difference "white" Snapper Fish
with the usual John Snapper and "Ah Neh" Snapper.
Although we don't see any Red Snapper anymore in the pond. Likewise our friend moved to another pond due to his only interest in Red Snapper.
Most people recognize us because of H
Frequently asked question: "Where is your bird?"
Either reply: "At home" or "There..."(pointing at him lacking behind sometimes)

Singapore Mandai Zoo
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong made public that Singapore Mandai Zoo would soon merge with Jurong Bird Park. And it could be ready by 2020.
Every Singaporean have been to the Zoo. I went countless of times in the past because it's the nearest place I could easily access without jungle bashing. It had been quite a while since I last came, it was a heartbreaking visit as our White Tiger and Polar Bear had passed on leaving their mates alone. So the main reason for this visit was to see how their mates are faring.
Cotton Top Tamarin (Saguinus oedipus)
Found only in Central and South America. The Cotton Top Tamarins live in social groups of up to 12 family members, usually with one breeding pair. Twins are produced and all members participate in the care of the young.
In Mandai Zoo, this group of Cotton Top Tamarins has been conditioned to free range within the area near the entrance.
Greater Mouse Deer (Tragulus napu)
Inuka (means "silent stalker"), our last surviving Polar Bear. Pacing front and back in his enclosure, while wild Polar Bears have a free range in its huge Arctic habitat which can spread an area of over 80,000 km².
He is the first Polar Bear being born in the tropics. My primary school very first excursion visit was to Mandai Zoo and during than Inuka was still a baby cub.
2012, Sheba (Inuka's Mother) was euthanized as her condition deteriorated. Which is how long I've not came.
King of the Jungle
Python beside Naked Mole Rat exhibit
Puma
There're more than 80 names for the Puma, etc. Cougar, American Lion, Mountain Lion/Cat.
The soul of another being
Crows are very smart and emotional animals too..
Mating crows will often remain together for years and some until parted by death. Most of the offspring will leave the nest a couple months never to return while some on the other hand remain and assist in cooperative breeding. Bonded pairs are very protective of their nest or young, not only they'll attack animals but also humans. They're too smart and emotional hence branded as pest, so humans could in some sense be branded as pest too right?
I'm not saying I hate humans, just trying to view us in animals perspective which many wouldn't even bother.
Smart little guy, climbed up high on the log to have better access.
While all the others fight and grumpier down below.
Standing proud and tall
I had been contemplating to adopt a Flemish Giant Rabbit for years.
Although I've quite a few pets, plus one doesn't mean "it doesn't make a difference" as what most of my friends quoted. I'm not ready for one yet. A rabbit is a life, a life is commitment.
Ah Meng (isn't an ordinary Orangutan)
Pelican roosting
Omar the Last surviving White Tiger
There used to be three white tigers in this enclosure. Now there's one.
Saddle-Billed Stork
This is a female (yellow iris), while male has dark iris.
Although baby Baboons are cute but when they grow to an adult, not only are they strong and ferocious. They causes massive destruction, injuries and even death to owners who keep them as pets, likewise any primates. There's no such thing as domestic wild animals. Don't support tourism attraction to illegal wild animals.
If only I brought along my macro lens
